We have signed four cooperative agreements on scientific research with foreign institutions, and under these agreements implementing several joint research projects together with foreign counterparts. Our foreign cooperation and relations are expanding from year to year, and the department is currently cooperating with about 10 foreign institutes, including Center for Nature Conservation, Goettingen University, Germany; Institute of Zoology, Halle-Wittenberg University, Germany; Faculty of Geography of the Marburg University, Germany; Zoological Society of London, UK; Ornithological Center, UK etc. The department exchanges lecturers and postgraduate students, and collaborates with these institutes in the respective study area.
During past five years the professor, lecturers and graduate students of our department are participated more than 30 times in the international conference, and presented more than 50 presentations.
